CONSTRUCTION: ACTIVITY AT MANNA'S ON LENOX
Harlem Bespoke: We walked by the dormant Manna's on Lenox by 135th Street yesterday and saw that some sort of activity on site which made us take a closer look. Permits posted on the front window unfortunately states that the commercial space will go under a change to make way for a new deli that will arrive at the location. Manna's was the first soul food buffet in Harlem started up in the 80s and had three other locations in the neighborhood. Now it appears that the one on Frederick Douglass might be the last stand for Manna's. More on Harlem's soul food buffets can be found in out past post: LINK
