Dia de los Muertos Workshop at
Morris-Jumel Mansion. For this ‘Second Saturday’ event, families can make paper sugar skulls and other crafts and help to create a Day of The Dead altar, or ofrenda, by leaving notes or gifts for their ancestors or loved ones
. The altar will remain on view in the Mansion through the month of October and have a virtual space on the museum's website
Safety Requirements: The workshop will be held outside of Morris-Jumel Mansion on the bluestone patio from 12 until 1:30 pm. Masks must be worn by all participants and table capacity will be capped to ensure proper social distancing. Get more details and register online for this family event:
