EAT: THE HARLEM BISCUIT COMPANY POP-UP

Harlem Bespoke:  Everyone who miss the biscuits at the shuttered Morningside Coffee should head over to 67 Orange Street on Frederick Douglass Boulevard by 113th Street this week and try out the offerings at the Harlem Biscuit Company pop-up shop.  Chef Melvin Johnson has been perfecting a secret recipe that yields mile-high fluffy biscuits that are out of this world and just might be the best we have ever tried over the years.  Crafted sandwiches like The Langston are the order of the day with super juicy, crispy fried chicken, pickles, onion and a hot honey drizzle that are all on a fine dining level which must be expecrienced.

There is more to choose from this week starting 8:00AM to 2:00PM from Tuesday to Saturday only.  We also have to say that the coffee is also quite spectacular so make sure to order a bit of everything while visiting.  Hopefully a permanent location will be secured in the near future but for now everyone should run over to try these bespoke biscuits that are a game changer in the neighborhood.

  1. Nice people and good biscuits - but they are not ready for prime time. Slow service, wrong orders and overpriced. Skip it.
