BESPOKE KIDS: SLED RIDING AFTER THE SNOWSTORM

Harlem Bespoke: Uptown families know that the first thing to do after a big storm is to head for the hilly parks north of 110th Street.  We went by St. Nicholas Park at 135th Street around noon today when the sun arrived after the blizzard and kids were already on the slopes having an amazing time.  The newly anointed Jame Baldwin Lawn provides green space for picnics and sunbathing during the warmer seasons but becomes an alpine slope in the city after snowfall.  Winters have been pretty mild over the year so everyone pretty much anticipates having a memorable family outing the next day once this weather arrives.
