Harlem Bespoke: The new CTown Market signage went up at The Frederick building on 8th Avenue by 128th Street earlier this month and now the store has opened to the public. We walked past the new supermarket this weekend and actually went in to do some grocery shopping. Everything is brand new inside and a point of interest was the hanging lights that illuminated the interior. Prices are affordable and there are more ethnic offerings to be found than other locations further south in Manhattan. Whole Foods on 125th Street is a nice place to splurge once in a while but regular priced alternatives are also much needed in the neighborhood.
