RENT: APPLE BANK BUILDING UP FOR LEASE

Harlem Bespoke: The Apple Bank at 124 East 125th Street at the corner of Lexington Avenue was vacated because of a big asset sale a couple of years back and now it appears everything is up for rent.  This is actually one of the more architecturally significant building on 125th Street with a lot of history to it but apparently no landmark protection has been provided for some reason.  The location by the subway station makes it a prime target for a developer but only landmark status would help ensure that this majestic example of early 20th Century architecture will be preserved in the near future.  Check out our past post for an archival photo of the Apple Bank which was originally the Harlem Savings Bank: LINK
