Harlem Bespoke: Staying home more often in the city is now the norm and rental buildings like The Smile at 146 East 126th Street have gone to the next level to make sure that all amenities are included within the striking Bjarke Ingels designer building on Harlem's main corridor. Outdoor space is a premium these days and the newly finished rooftop has an incredible amount of accommodations like private dipping pools, gleaming barbecue stations and greenery which also comes with some of the best views to be found uptown. There's also plenty of room to work or play and we recently had the opportunity to take a tour of the interior.
There was so much to discover but the one thing that impressed us most was a massive gym multitudes larger than those found in other buildings. Lots of cardio equipment, a respectable range of weights and even a boxing station for those who want to mix things up. Then there was the impressive dance studio in the back or the entire relaxation spaces with a wood encased sauna, the Himalayan pink salt light room and a full spa room complete with mani-pedi stations.
Working and entertaining was also included in-house and a dining area with an industrial kitchen to cook at was another standout. A large media screening room for movie nights and and the usual recreational room was also included. For those who want to work at home, a lounge area and conferences room have that all covered. Making staying at home a new experience is key these days and this new building really has it all figured out. Check out more on The Smile at the official website: LINK
