Harlem Bespoke: The old gas station lot at 119th West 145th Street apparently was sold sometimes back in 2016 and construction started up a couple of years ago. This location just a couple of doors down from the express train entrance on Lenox could be quite ideal and we were curious to see what was rising currently.
The lack of windows was a clue here and a very unexciting storage facility has apparently decided to locate itself at this part of the block. With that said, another gas station just across the street will be demolished in the near future and will eventually be residential. Interestingly enough, many of the local gas stations have shut down in the past decade and this could be a signal for a more green city in the future.
