Harlem Bespoke: The former wood frame house at the corner of Amsterdam and West 125th Street got a new stucco finish out front a back in 2012 but was then demolished for something new more recently. Things slowed down because of the pandemic but now it appears that everything is picking up again based on the large crane that was on site this past week. We have had a lot of these development photos on file from last year but felt it was more important to focus on the local businesses trying to survive the pandemic. With that said, now things are moving forward and this 4 story development with a penthouse and commercial space will probably be condos from the look of it. Check out our past post for an image of this corner from the 1930s to compare the before and after: LINK
