Harlem Bespoke: Anyone intrigued about our last history post featuring a lone farmehouse on an uptown block over century ago can actually visit one that is still intact today. The Dyckman Farmhouse at the corner of 204th Street and Broadway is one of last testaments of farm life that was prevalent in upper manhattan before the 20th Century and is currently surrounding by blocks of prewar buildings. Two sisters who owned the estate over 105 year ago transformed the home into a museum back in 1915 in order to keep a part of the neighborhood's heritage intact. Timed museum visits can be reserved in advanced and tickets can be purchased online at the official Dyckman Farmhouse Museum site: LINK
