Harlem Bespoke: We noticed that there were more clams on the menu at Fumo at the corner of West 139th Street and Amsterdam Avenue in Hamilton Heights. Our favorite pasta dish at the popular eatery has always been the one with Manila clams but now the dinner service menu has the classic baked clams as part of the offering. These were on the smaller side than we are used to but the flavor was the best that we have had for this dish and everything was super fresh. There is a whole, juicy clam in each shell and the lightly seasoned breading with the lemony sauce brought it all together. Our recommendation would be to just get the full dozen and share with friends at the table on any given night. This seafood plate is not served in a lot of places uptown so Fumo is the place to be for the Italian American specialty. More on Fumo can be found in our past post:
