Harlem Bespoke: There are a lot of new merchants at the Saturday Morningside Farmers Market at 110th Street by Manhattan Avenue and we noticed that a British pie stand was amongst the mix. Meat pies are a classic English comfort food and we have always heard about pork pies but never tried one. This smaller pie is almost like a French pate en croute but you warm everything up in the oven first before serving. Paired with a side salad, this little pork pie lived up to its reputation and gets a lot of high marks for deliciousness. More on uptown's popular farmers market in our past post:
