Harlem Bespoke: So the average in Manhattan rent for a non-doorman studio went down a couple of hundred since summer but still is a whopping $2,098 a month but those living uptown can save thousands each year since deals can still be found. Just this week, a prewar three-bedroom at 234 East 106th Street by 2nd Avenue has been listed for $2,000 a month. This recently renovated no-fee rental in West Harlem is less than 2 blocks away from the Lexington Line subway and comes with an addition one month free rent deduction so the net for the year is $1,750 a month. With that said, this is probably a walk-up situation on an upper floor so it might not be for everyone. More details and contact information on Streeteasy: LINK
