Harlem Bespoke: We reported that the Best Yet market on Frederick Douglass by 118th Street was converting to a discount supermarket back in January and now the location is looking to hire. Lidl actually bought out Best Market and will apparently retain past workers but store supervisors are now needed. The above sign was seen last week at the Harlem address and construction is still currently happening inside. There are no Lidl stores yet in Manhattan so having the first one uptown will be quite a shopping experience when everything opens up in the fall. More on Lidl can be found in our past post:
