Harlem Bespoke: Uptowns longest running farmers market at 110th Street and Manhattan Avenue just gets better during the warm weather months. There is definitely more to discover including the flower vendor who was quite busy this weekend. Sunflowers are apparently happening this time of year but an assortment of other blooms can be found also. One of the produce stands had edible lavender on display and the instructions include to dry for tea or chop it up to add to a vinegar for a salad dressing. What we also noticed recently is that more families are showing up at the market these days which adds to the nice mix of neighbors who support shopping at this local event.
