Japanese Curry free giveaway event
at
Go! Go! Curry! on West 125th Street by Broadway. Uptown's only Go! Go! Curry! location on West 125th Street will be giving out 1,000 plates of the Japanese comfort food for free starting on Sunday for a two day event while quantities last. This is all part of an activist initiative by
YourStomachLovesUs which fights Asian Hate by uniting everyone through cuisine and helps restaurants that have been hit hard by the pandemic. The organization works with local asian restaurants and sets up no-cost meals for the community so everyone can enjoy grabbing a bite in show of solidarity for the diversity in the neighborhood. Go! Go! Curry! also had a notable 55¢ introduction offer when they first openend in Harlem back in 2016 and we were there to check things out:
