Harlem Bespoke: We have been wondering about the empty lot at
204 Lenox Avenue for the past decade now and it appears nothing has ever happened to this location in the Mount Morris Park Historic District over the years. Apparently the set of matching buildings by 120th Street lost a townhouse building during the time when there was a lot of property abandonment in the neighborhood but now a lot of folks are interested in the uptown market. Anything new built in this part of Harlem will also have to be architecturally accurate because of the landmark status but developers recently have been reconstructing townhouses with a historic nod to the the block as of late so that should now be such a big deal:
