Harlem Bespoke: In the past decade of covering all things uptown, we never once saw the pond at Morningside Park overflow but that changed this week thanks to Hurricane Ida. The above photos are from yesterday when all of the paths and sidewalks were underwater because the pond has expanded to three times the size of its original borders. Maybe human factors can prevent or even reverse climate change in the future but more affective initiatives need to put into action as we mentioned yesterday in our post about cleaner air in the city:
