Harlem Bespoke: We walked by the Harlem DMV building just east of Lexington Avenue on 125th Street this weekend and noticed that Gorillas now has a storefront up at one of the lower commercial spaces.
What is Gorillas App?
Well those who are fans of Fresh Direct might be interested in this European version which promises local groceries in 10 minutes via messenger bikes. All of
Harlem, West Harlem and East Harlem is pretty much covered and the environmentally friendly businesses sources produce locally and does not use plastic when possible so everything shows up in brown paper bags. Bike messengers also get full benefits from the company and delivery by bicycle is definitely more earth friendly than traditional exhaust-spewing delivery truck or vehicles.
