SEE: WILLI SMITH AT COOPER HEWITT

Harlem Bespoke: Celebrate New York Fashion Week with the retrospective on one of great black designers of the 70s and 80s.  The Willi Smith exhibit was closed off to the public last year because of the pandemic but now the Cooper Hewitt on Fifth Avenue's Museum Mile has everything on view until October 24th of this year.  Tickets are free with advance reservation which tend to sell out so check for availability online: LINK

During his twenty-year career Willi Smith (1948–1987) united fashion and American culture, marrying affordable, adaptable basics with avant-garde performance, film, art, and design.
