Harlem Bespoke: The city finally made an important update to those covered trash receptacles that have replaced a majority of the traditional trash cans and it is about time.
We get that the contained units probably are better at keeping garbage in place for various reasons and keeps the critter out but those gross handles at top were always kind of problematic. Aside from having to physically place your hands on it to open things up, you also had to use a little extra effort because they always seemed to be jammed. Now a nifty foot pedal has been added around town and suddenly the world is a slight better place. Just put your foot onto the lower lever and everything opens up accordingly without any skin contact.
