Harlem Bespoke: So the average in Manhattan rent for a
non-doorman studio went up a couple of hundred this past summer to a
whopping $2,256 a month but those living uptown can save thousands each year since deals can still be found.
In the past 24 hours, a prewar
three-bedroom at 63 West 131st Street by Lenox Avenue has been listed for $2,275 a month. This
no-fee rental has recently been renovated and is a short walk away from the 135th Street express subway station. Restaurants, cafes, and the Whole Foods on 125th Street are all close by.
