October 7th - October 28th, Short Films by Apichatpong Weerasethakul,  at Maysles Cinema, 343 Lenox Avenue by 127th Street.   Maysles Documentary Center presents Short Films by Apichatpong Weerasethakul, a series of four distinct collections (Programs 1-4) organized by the filmmaker, featuring work made between 1997 and 2020. Weerasethakul won the top prize at Cannes in 2010 for Uncle Bonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives and premiered his latest feature, Memoria, to universal acclaim at the 2021 festival— where he also premiered a new short.
