Harlem Bespoke: We had to stop by Sugar Hill Creamery in Hamilton Heights on Broadway by 150th over the weekend because the winter Hot Chocolate is back! Those who remember thinking that hot chocolate could be a little more extra as a child will be happy to know that dreams do come true.
Harlem's boutique dessert shop makes the hot drink from their vanilla ice cream as the base, adds 64 percent chocolate and then tops it off with whipped marshmallow that is then toasted per order. It's basically the only time that hot chocolate will not underwhelm and bring back disappointing childhood memories. This is the second location of the beloved uptown dessert parlor and folks further south on Lenox Avenue by 120th Street can also check out what's new for the season.
