RENT: TWO BEDROOM ON MANHATTAN AVENUE
Harlem Bespoke: So the average in Manhattan rent for a non-doorman studio went up a couple of hundred this past summer to a whopping $2,343 a month but those living uptown can save thousands each year since deals can still be found. In the past week, a prewar two-bedroom at 390 Manhattan Avenue by Morningside Park has been listed for $2,200 a month. This no-fee rental has recently been renovated and comes with an additional two months free. This location is also just a 5 minute walk away from the express subway station entrance at 125th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Restaurants, cafes and the supermarket are all close by on the Frederick Douglass commercial corridor. With that said, this prewar apartment is probably a walk-up situation so might not be for everyone. More details and contact information on Streeteasy: LINK
