Harlem Bespoke: A new nightclub appears to be taking over the former
Solomon & Kuff space on West 133rd and 12th Avenue over in Manhattanville which has been vacant for two years now. We walked by the empty restaurant space in Harlem's former industrial neighborhood this week and saw that Panda signage has now been posted up.
One of the aforementioned pandas appears to be a DJ so we instantly think that a night establishment will try to see if this corner of Harlem will work out for all the party people out there. Another theory here is that this could just be another movie set. With all that said, Manhattanville was sort of the area where clubs tested the waters about a decade ago but they have all since shuttered but the times are a little different now. Skinny's Cantina across the way kind of has a clubby atmosphere and appears to be doing pretty well with the bar crowd:
