Harlem Bespoke: A Bespoke reader who lived by the now-demolished Hotel Oga sent in some photos of the demolition from back in 2019 when the scaffolding just went up. The unofficial landmark was one of the only hotels in Harlem to cater to black guests during the early Harlem Renaissance years but had been boarded up for decades. Right now, the location is just empty land for developers to fight over and the important history will most likely be forgotten by future generations.
