Harlem Bespoke: A Bespoke reader asked us last month if Harlem Food Bar on Frederick Douglass by 114th Street was going to reopen soon and the answer might just be visible out front these days. We took the above photos last week and saw a sign mentioning that renovations are apparently at hand. HFB has been around for over a decade now and closed doors at the end of 2021, so all fingers are crossed that a new version of the local eatery will open in the earlier part of this year. Thankfully all of the incessant scaffolding has now been removed from this location and everything is more visible these days since the building construction has ended.
