National Rugelach Day celebration at Lee Lee's Bakery, 283 West 118th Street, east of Frederick Douglass Boulevard. The first ever nationally Rugelach Day will officially be recognized this Friday with the help of Mr. Alvin Lee Small's Harlem heritage bakery that has been around since 1965 and just recently went through a relaunch.
There will also be another reason to celebrate since it will be the Rugelach King of Harlem's 80th Birthday and the store will have special demonstrations starting early in the morning but folks can just drop by the usual hours of 11:00AM to 7:00PM each day of the week to try out the legendary specialty goods.
