Car Free Earth Day celebration on Amsterdam Avenue between 106th and 110th Street. Celebrate Earth Day in Morningside Heights with open streets without traffic and lots of eco-friendly activities.
Tree bed care with tool provided on site, tree identification, textile collection for recycling, NYC Sanitation Department presentations on organics, live jazz music and more will be part of the community celebration. Also make sure to support the local restaurants along the strip while out and about for the green holiday.
