Harlem Bespoke: We go a tip that came in this week that Lee Lee's bakery on West 118th Street just east of Frederick Douglass Boulevard just got a brand new facade and so we stopped by to take a few photos today.
Right now there is a resurgence of old school Harlem spots and Lee Lee's has been around since 1965 as the go-to shop for rugelach. With the astounding success of the relaunch of Charle's Pan-Fried Chicken, we expect to see more local makeovers get uptown's heritage business moving up to the next level.
