Harlem Bespoke: We always stop by this time a year to check out the beautiful weeping cherry blossom trees on the north side of Morningside Park at 122nd Street and Morningside Avenue.
This location is right in front of the playground and the small arbor maybe is only a couple of years old but thriving each year. Cherry blossoms have become more a more popular in the past decade and for good reasons too. Just having a small group of them really transforms green spaces in a spectacular way at the start of the season and they do not get too tall and overgrown which sometimes is an issue especially within smaller spaces. On a side note, all of the above photos were taken last week so everything might be at post peak currently.
