HARLEM SKYSCRAPER CYCLING CLASSIC ON SUNDAY

Harlem Bespoke: Started back in 1973 by a local police officer to encourage youth safety in Harlem, the Skyscraper Cycling Classic is now a big international event attracting over 500 professional athletes who compete on a path around Mount Morris Park.

Sunday, June 19th, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, The 47th Annual Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic at Mount Morris Park West.  The event held its initial contest on (Father’s Day) Sunday, June 17th, 1973 at (the formally known as)—Mount Morris Park which was just renamed Marcus Garvey Park—in honor of the famed Activist, Journalist and Publicist Marcus Garvey. The Skyscraper Classic is free to the public and is definitely a great way to spend a Sunday in Harlem: LINK
