SEE: THE MUSCOTA MARSH WETLANDS AT LOW TIDE

Harlem Bespoke:  One unique natural feature that can be found at the most northern tip of Manhattan by West 218th Street and the section of the Harlem River called Spuyten Duvil Creek.  The Muscota Marsh during most parts of the day looks to be pretty deep but low tides will reveal a sandy wetland not far below.

This entire waterfront on the northern edge of Inwood Hill Park about four blocks west of Broadway was not open to the public until 2014 and there are even benches now to soak in the view.  A search for low tide hours during the day will probably be most beneficial for those who want to explore this alternate view of the flowing green space. All of the above photos except the last one was taken during the springtime when we first noticed the low tide.  Check out our past post for more photos of the marsh when everything is fully covered with water: LINK
