Harlem Bespoke: We have been writing about the historic Mishkin's drug store for over a decade but only recently realized that there should be images going back to 1940s in the city archives since the signage out front goes back that far. The above images shows the corner of Amsterdam and 145th Street over 80 years ago and the old neon is clear visible just above street level. Mishkin's actually has been around since the 1890s apparently and is probably the oldest storefront to still be intact uptown.
