KATHLEEN HOLLOWAY EXHIBIT AT DYCKMAN FARMHOUSE

Harlem Bespoke: Another free event to check out in September at Manhattan's oldest historic farmhouse in the heights.  Definitely worth the experience especially if you have not visited the historic address yet.

Thursday, Septmeber 22nd, 5:00PM-6:30PM, Kathleen Holloway exhibition at Dyckman Farmhouse, 204th Street and Broadway. A wine reception to celebrate the opening of a new exhibition from Kathleen Holloway who transforms the things we all collectively recognize, such as trees, leaves, clouds, and flowers, then manipulates a single frame in a kaleidoscopic spin to reveal new forms and patterns that lay hidden beneath the surface.  Once printed and mounted to a substrate, she uses encaustic wax to coat the pieces in various thicknesses, adding texture and depth to transform the images.  More details on the Dyckman Farmhouse site: LINK
