☞ REMEMBER: 7 West 127th Street Townhouse

A reader mentioned that there was some excavation work being done on 127th Street, just slightly west from the corner of 5th Avenue, and we found that this location was an empty lot. The above photo from 1932 shows 7 West 127th Street and the three story wood frame house that used to sit on this lot. Apparently, there was always a curb cut at this part of town since the side of the building was an auto service station. The house has been gone some time and the lot is now for up for sale. 1. Does this mean someone could build a house with a garage in High Five? (I use that term because the originator stopped posting it in the interest keeping Harlem Bespoke civil, but I like it, so there's more than one of us,)

  2. Does anybody know what's the asking price?
Would be nice to rebuild a replica of the same structure, but with a weathered brick front since the city doesn't allow new wood-framed houses.
