☞ INTRODUCING: The Harlem Art Walking Tour
This year's Harlem Open Artist Studio Tour (HOAST) is not happening due to a crisis with the organizer but now DNAinfo reports that Casa Frela's own Lawrence Rodriguez will be setting up something similar for early October. The new self guided tour featuring over 80 local artists will be held October 9th and 10th and is aptly titled the Harlem Art Walking Tour (HAWT). Artwork up for sale during the tour will have broad appeal with those seeking to make a purchase since price ranges will be $35 to $3,000 Read more in DNAinfo: LINK. This is going to be a great Event. Lawrence has gone out of his way to include studios & galleries that have never before been open to the public - and included such local treasures as Dr. Adair's Head Start kids & their art - and the prestigious art collection at The National Black Theatre. We are all in for a treat.
