☞ READ: The French-American Charter Opens
The Columbia Spectator has a follow-up story on the new French-American Charter School in South Harlem that we first reported on in July: LINK. Opened since September 16th, the school will serve grades K-2 and plans on adding a new grade every year. The charter took over the closed daycare center on West 120th Street (between Manhattan Avenue and FDB/8th) and was started based on the local support of the Harlem Senegalese-American community. All classes will be mainly taught in French. Read more in the Spectator: LINK
