☞ DWELL: 535 Manhattan Avenue Lot
The other great vacant townhouse lot location in South Harlem can be found just north of 122nd Street at 535 Manhattan Avenue. Express trains are 2 blocks away at 125th Street, Morningside Park is just a block west and the area has some beautiful tree lined blocks with intact brownstones. The bad news is that the next door building at number 533 is a boarded up SRO that seems to be in limbo: LINK. The property is also only 15 foot wide and guessing from the broker's website, it would seem the asking price is $1.195 million: LINK. Based on DOB records, the original brownstone was demolished way back in 1967 so the owner will probably make a large profit even with a hefty price chop. What is this land really worth?
