☞ DWELL: 88 Morningside Debuts the Man Cave
Curbed checked out the modern designs at 88 Morningside last week for the "man cave" debut and took quite a few photos of the concept which had a lot to do with the masculine mindset. Hard edge mid-century modern furniture mixed with a fridge full of beer from Mel's Burgers up on Broadway and a big screen media room was set up to show the latest game. Seeing that the development is a couple of blocks away from Columbia University, we are guessing maybe this could be an untapped target audience that the aesthetic might be styled for. The 12-story, 73 unit building directly facing Morningside Park at West 122nd Street appears to have 30 contracts signed now so its almost at the halfway point according to Streeteasy: LINK. A press kit for the event confirms that the remaining units are a mix of one, two and three bedrooms, ranging in size from 625-1,270 square feet and priced from $375,000- $880,000. Check out the rest of the manly interior photos on Curbed: LINK. Mored details on this condominium can be found on the development's website: 88morningside.com
