☞ EAT: New Harlem Classic at Society Coffee
Society Coffee is going strong with their sixth anniversary this year and has been noted for introducing an innovative twist on a southern classic during this past Harlem Restaurant Month. Red Velvet Cake is a traditional favorite uptown but the cafe at the the corner of 114th Street and FDB has come up with a Red Velvet Waffle dish which appears to be a very popular item these days. The above photo shows the contemporary take on the local flavor usually associated with cakes and cupcakes which is served up with whipped cream.
