☞ EAT: What's Up with Pizzeria 123?

A few readers have been enquiring on what was going on with Pizzeria 123 on West 123rd and FDB/8th Avenue since it appears to have been closed down a couple of weeks back.  The casual pizzeria was given an "A" grade by the city's Health Department in recent months but now it seems that score was given too prematurely.  Walking by the takeout over the weekend, we noticed a Commissioner of Health and Mental Hygiene notice that states that Pizzeria 123 was shut down for violations which is even more confusing considering the perfect initial score.  Other than that, there is not much else to report until the eatery reopens again.

  3. Wonderful. That leaves exactly 0 decent places to get a slice or pie in Harlem. Hope they reopen soon!

  5. walked by 123 about an hour ago and the gates were down, people were working inside but I didn’t see evidence of the Health Department sign.

Walked by Chocolat and they most certainly had Health Department signs plastered on the windows and people were inside, scrubbing away.
