A few Bespoke readers showed up for the first open house at 227 Lenox this past Wednesday and have reported that the property is apparently no longer up for auction. The 26-foot-wide building formerly used as a church peaked the interest of potential buyers with its $400K suggested starting bid and the first event drew a robust crowd. An original bankruptcy auction date was set for February but now there are reports that the trustee of the property has accepted an offer. Whatever the case may be, there still is a Streeteasy listing up for the next open house for this landmark in the historic district at 121st Street:
