  1. I'm sorry. Love the 20' width but at nearly 3 mil this just ain't doin'' it for me. Those air conditioning vents are a real turnoff.

  2. It doesn't have central air then? Thought it looked quite nice! Must be the lure of 20ft :) Pretty sure our apt is 18.

  3. @Chris. Central air I am sure but it must be coming from those vents on top. Surely that is not the heating. Hot air rises, cold air. . . etc.

But once again, different stokes, etc.

  4. Given the finishes, I'd say this property is well priced. (They should have moved the scale out of the bathroom pic. It's distracting.) I'll be interested in seeing how this property does. I'm guessing that it will sell for $2.65

  5. It's not a single-family. There's a studio apartment on the garden level. But, yeah, good luck selling for that price. Trying taking $500k off.

  6. Sanou's Mum: many renovated brownstones have central air with forced air for both air conditioning and heating, meaning the heat comes our of the same vents that the AC comes out of and, even through hot air rises, this usually means the heat is blown from ceiling area. Some of that heat ends up warming the floors above, but, of course, this also means the bottom floor can be a bit cold.

  7. C, any idea how much it would cost to install central air for a whole building? (3 family home, 4 floors, 5 incl. garden unit). I wonder if it might be something that can be split between the current 3 owners?
