☞ DWELL: 529 West 142nd Street in Contract
Number 529 West 142nd Street was just sold last year for $925K and a very experience flipper has successfully renovated the townhouse in Hamilton Heights which recently found a buyer for its new multi-million asking price. This 20-foot-wide (at far left of top photo), single-family house used to have some very old looking details that have now been updated with modern finishes and a contract was out within two months of the home being on the market this year: LINK
At $2.695 million, this building sets a record for Hamilton Heights (since the recession hit) even though it is not one of the grander homes on Convent Avenue. With that said, the renovations appear to be top quality and the taste level is one of the best ones we have seen uptown since it successfully combines new and old in a fluid fashion. Check out what the interior previously looked like in our past post: LINK

This could have been better had they gone for natural wood details, also complete lack of crown moldings, however it is still a stunning home and good to see a new record price for Hamilton Heights.
