Several Bespoke reader were wondering why
Harlem Public and then At The Wallace moved in next door, offered great food, and presented a look that still is rare in Harlem but quite popular in the trendy parts of the city. Tonalli must be changing over to catch up because people actually do take visual cues when walking by an establishment. Our only call out now is that graphics are really important for the facade and we hope something better than the former commercial coffee shop logo comes along.
love it, hope they reopen soon!!
ReplyDeleteThis place always weirded me out, first of all their awning and signage displayed two different spellings of the name-definitely something you would want to get right as a restaurant. Now from these pictures I can see the misspellings continue in the plans with their "dinning" area and "banqueet" seating.
ReplyDeleteYuh. That’s worrying.
DeleteI have had decent food and drink here. But yeah, always a little amateur hour with the typo on their own name.
Deletesome of the best food in Harlem. hope they come back with a better buzz....
ReplyDeletewhen walked past the other day it appeared the plan is to change the name altogether? i think its going to be called "unione" or something like that now.
