SEE: MURALS AT AMSTERDAM NEWS BUILDING
We noticed that the old Amsterdam News building on 8th Avenue just north of 125th Street has had some new artwork painted on to the facade in the past week or so. The historic address just north of 125th Street still has the neon signage out front but now also has African scenery painted on several sides. Murals are always a great way to express public art and the new paintings definitely add a little more character to this particular corner of upper FDB.
