EAT: CONSTRUCTION STARTS AT SUSHI VINO
The corner of 119th and Lenox has been quiet for some time but now it looks like the sushi joint in the Mount Morris Park neighborhood is well under construction these days. Earlier in the week, we walked by the large corner storefront that used to be the Halstead offices until a couple of years ago and noticed a slew of new permits posted on the front window. As recently as yesterday, a construction crew was on the site and interior architectural elements could be seen being added on within. As reported back in spring, this will be the third sushi spot to open in Central Harlem this year and from what we can see thus far, it might be the most ambitious of the three.

The interior looks promising, but the name throws me off - "sushi vino" feels like a restaurant that doesn't know what it wants to be. I really hope I'm wrong!
