INTRODUCING: A RECORD TOWNHOUSE CONTRACT 2016

The biggest contract on a townhouse in Harlem since the recession hit a few years back is now out at 326 Convent Avenue based on the asking price of $4.95 million. We had heard that many buyers had been interested in the property over the past year because of the location on lower Convent Avenue, its grand size and the high end, contextual finishes but a contract had not been disclosed until now.

This single-family townhouse is located on arguably one of Manhattan's most breathtaking landmark neighborhoods and maxes out at 5,000 square foot of space. The mansion is also located just a block away from the express trains at 145th Street which gets one to midtown in 15 minutes and is close to the new better dining options in the Heights.  Top sales for greater Harlem brownstones have been hovering on average in the mid $3 million range last year but 326 Convent will reportedly be the first home over the $4 million mark when it closes in the next few weeks.  More photos and details can be found on the broker site: LINK
